MicroTec, Inc. was formed in March of 2006 by Richard Warden, President and Inventor. Although the company is very young, the ideas and inventions of Richard have been 15+ years in the making. He has come up with a way to shield microwave transmission from 0 to 18GHz spectrum using a unique spray coating, which is unusually lightweight. Advanced testing has been completed and shows the process to be 100% reflective.
Inventor Background
Richard Warden researched microwave radar technology for several years with professors from MIT. In the mid 1980’s, Richard designed and built the first eight foot, one piece TVRO parabolic fiberglass dish in the state of Maine. Richard was then asked by the Washington Branch of the Coast Guard to appear at their R&D group in Grotton, Connecticut at which time the topic was microwave reflection of polymer products. Richard has completed the reflection project and is exploring many areas for it’s possible use in the marketplace.
